Man oh man have I missed my church since I been away at school.
Today’s sermon was too deep. Reverend Stevenson broke down Daniel 3:8 and explained to the congregation how the fire youre in, has NO POWER. It may seem hot and unbearable whilst youre submerged in it, but what youre going through is nothing compared to the things God can do.
We need to remember that we arent the first to go through trials, and look at all the survivors. Even if God doesnt deliver you from it, He will fix you in it. Sometimes the fire is necessary to loosen the bounds. Just because youre in the fire right now, doesnt mean your story is over. Promotion comes after the fire, and I want that promotion!
God knows what’s best for me better than I ever would. And if it’s His will, even if I prayed against it, I trust Him.
